Dr. Tuck is a New York native. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University, where he majored in Biochemistry. He went on to the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. He received his post-graduate medical training at the University of Iowa, where he completed both his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery. He also received further specialized training at the University of Iowa by completing a fellowship in Hand, Trauma and Pediatric Orthopaedics. Dr. Tuck is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and has been in private practice with Shady Grove Orthopaedics since 1980.
